Hi Pinkfresh Studio friends

It's that time of year again when seasonal cardmaking is in full swing therefore, I decided to continue with seasonal inspiration for you. I am sure you have some seasonal supplies as well as non-seasonal in your stash so, today I show you how you can use an everyday die set to make a snowflake card.

I titled my blog post Unique Snowflake because, each snowflake is different and your cards will be too depending on the supplies you choose.

For the background I pulled out the lovely Dotted Scallop Coverplate Die. Love it! One of my favourites. Then, using the brand new Calico White Pigment Ink, I ink blended around the edges of the pink die cut panel.

This softened the background perfectly. I put it aside to allow the pigment some drying time.

Don't you just love the new Pinkfresh Ink release??? I fell in love with them especially especially the Sage Dye Ink! I needed a colour to alternate with the Sage and knew Cherry Blossom would be perfect.

On a card panel I spread the full ink pad across the panel several times to allow me to have enough coloured cardstock to die cut. One in Cherry Blossom and one in Sage.

Using the Foliage Shaker Dies, I die cut four background dies and four front dies in each of my coloured cardstock. Once glued together, I arranged them over the base panel. When I was happy with my arrangement, I used Press n Seal to keep it together while I added some dimension with foam dots on the back.

From the Holiday Large Sentiments Stamp Set I stamped and die cut a good sized sentiment for the centre of the snowflake. To finish, I added Iridescent Clear Drops along the spine of the leaf die cuts. This really finished the design off nicely.

As usual, I made a reel so if you want to see the card come together why not check it out over on Instagram @pinkfreshstudio

Well, thats all from me today friends. Have fun cardmaking!

Beautiful card!!!! So clever to use those dies to create this gorgeous snowflake but I also love that they could be used to create a poinsettia! The colors used are super pretty! Fabulous color combo! I love the detailed background along with the white splatters on this card as well! Truly an amazing card!!!!
