Hello Pinkfresh Friends,

it's Maria here and today I write my first post as a Pinkfresh Studio Design Team member and I am sooooooo excited! At this point a big thank you again to Kinnari, Heather and Lea for their love and support! I am incredibly happy and grateful to be part of such a great team.

The card I am showing today was create with the gorgeous 'Thankful for friends' Stamp Set, designed by @alexsyberia.

I stamped this beautiful flower with 'Warm Buff' Premium Dye Ink on a piece of Arches Hot Pressed Watercolor Paper and colored it with the Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors. I wanted to color the flower in unexpected, autumnal colors.

As always, I worked in several layers to create depth and dimension. In total there are 4 layers with the Watercolors and one layer with the Colored Pencils.

I only worked with four colors = Sunshine, Clementine, Bubble Gum and Lavender. To get more colors, I mixed the colors partially with each other. For example Bubble Gum and Lavender to get a darker pink.

After coloring I added some details with Colored Pencils and a light wash of Watercolors around the flower.

After the colors had dried, I cut the Watercolor panel to size, added some Ink Splatters in gold and glued the card front to the card base with foam tape.

Finally I diecutted the Sentiment Hey from the 'Hey gorgeous' Die Set 4 times from white cardstock and 1 time from golden cardstock, glued them together and glued the Sentiment on the card front.
