Soft Layered Florals | Jenny Colacicco
Hi Everyone! It's Jenny here, and today I'm sharing a card that features lots of layers together, featuring all different products, to show how they can work together in harmony! I'm layering patterned paper, essentials dies, layering stencils and the coordinating stamp, and hot foil plates!
I first created my hot foiled sentiment. I'm using the You Sparkle hot foil plate, foiled using my Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System and Speckled Aura Glimmer Foil. I die cut it out with the coordinating die, but I'm only am going to use the top part of the sentiment.
For my card base I trimmed a panel of 12 x 12 patterned paper from the Some Days collection and adhered it to a white 110lb notecard. I then die cut the largest of the new Essentials Stitched Scallop Circles twice from a rustic pink cardstock and adhered them together. I then mounted them onto the patterned paper with thin strips of foam tape.
My main focal image is the Floral Bunch stamp and layering stencil set. I used Peach Fuzz ink for the main blooms, Mint ink for the leaves and Soft Lilac for the smaller flowers. I also used some leftover ink my ink daubers for the centres and leaf contrast areas. I then die cut it out with the coordinating die and mounted into the centre of the Scalloped circle with a double layer of foam squares. I adhered the 'You Sparkle' sentiment with a few strips of foam tape and then finally finished with of course some Essentials Jewels in Peach Fuzz (now available in single colors! Yes!!).
I do love how well all the Pinkfresh Studio products layer together - don't be afraid to give it a try!
