Pop Out Folk Garden | Dilay Nacar
Hello and welcome back, friends! Dee here and today, I’m sharing a card that I created with a few of my favorite hot foil plates, dies, and ink colors! Let’s dive in!
To begin, I foiled the Folk Garden hot foil plate in matte gold onto white cardstock, then stenciled it in with the coordinating stencils using the following inks: Tidal Pond and Mermaid Cove for the leaves and Regal Kiss and Soft Lilac for the blooms. To give it a different look, I skipped cutting the image with the coordinating die and instead cut it with the Pop Out: Sunburst die. To create some dimension, I adhered the frame and center circle (positive pieces) flat onto an A2-sized card base using liquid adhesive and the remaining (negative pieces) propped up using foam squares.
Next, I cut the Stitched Scallop Circles and Leafy Branch dies in gold and adhered it to the center. For the sentiment I foiled the Best Wishes hot foil plate, cut it with the coordinating die, and adhered it to the center with foam adhesive.
I hope that you enjoyed learning more about how I created this card and are inspired to try something new!
Have a great rest of your week, friends!
♡ Dee
