Hello and happy Friday, Pinkfresh friends! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a watercolored peony card! As this is my last post as a Pinkfresh Studio Card Design Team member, I wanted to make a card in my most favorite way -  no-line watercoloring :) !

I used the beautiful Peony Fantasy product suite from the June Release. The Peony Fantasy has lots of single flower images in one-piece stamp, which can be cut using the coordinating one-piece die. 

I stamped the whole stamp in Peach Fuzz on some watercolor paper and watercolored the peonies in pink, orange and yellow and the leaves in green. I worked on petal by petal and in layers as usual. 

After I was done with watercoloring, I cut all the images using the coordinating die and set them aside. 

To create the simple background with some texture, I first watercolored the right side of a mixed media panel in pink and orange and cut it using the Rounded & Braided Rectangles die set. I cut the largest outline but didn’t use the smaller outline dies so that I get only the braided pattern inside of the panel. 

Next I attached the background panel on a soft pink cardbase. I rounded the diagonal corners of the cardbase to match with the background panel. 

I then arranged the peony flowers on the card along with some white die cut Curvy Leaves as shown in the picture.

The sentiment is from the Basic Banners Everyday set. I gold heat embossed it on some vellum, cut it with the Basic Banners Celebrate die and added it to the upper left side of the card. 

Lastly I scattered a few Blush and Blossom Glitter Drops on the card. 

Even though I’m leaving my beloved team, I’ll follow what my amazingly talented team mates will create with the awesome Pinkfresh products in the future!
