Painted Peony Mix | TaeEun Yoo
Hello, Pinkfresh Friends! Hope your week is off to a great start! It's TaeEun here today with a slimline card that is featuring Painted Peony Mix Washi tape and coordinating die from our March 2021 Washi, Stamp and Die release. I used the small floral clusters from Painted Peony Mix washi tape to embellish the die cut letters.
I adhered the Painted Peony Mix washi tape on a piece of white cardstock, cut the images using the coordinating die and set them aside.
I wanted a subtle ink blending in my background. I took a slimline sized white cardstock and ink blended the top left side in Apricot and the bottom right side in Coral Reef. I cut the panel with the Slim Diagonal Stitched Plaid die, trimmed the panel a bit and adhered it on a white slimline cardbase. The Slim Stitched Scallop Rectagles frame was cut from some white shimmer cardstock and foam mounted on the card.
The die cut sentiment was cut using the Lea’s Ornate Uppercase and Lowercase die set. For the letter “n” I used Heather Lowercase die set. I cut the letters four times from some white cardstock and once from white shimmer cardstock. I first layered the white letters together.
To add floral accents to the letters I placed and adhered the small floral clusters I cut from the Painted Peony Mix washi tape on the letters as shown in the picture. The letters cut from the white shimmer cardstock were added then on the top of the white letters.
I ink blended the outline die cut pieces of the letters in Apricot and Coral Reef following the ink blending of the background and adhered the die cut letters with the flowers on the card.
To finish off I scattered some pink and cream Jewels.
The new washi tapes are so gorgeous and with the coordinating stamp and die sets so versatile to use! Hope I was able to show you one more way to play with the washi tape today!
Thank you so much for looking!

The Congrats fits perfectly into the slimline space! The font goes so well with the washi tape florals. And the boarder and background die add the perfect amount of interest without overwhelming the card. (that is something I always struggle with!) Very pretty!
