Happy Tuesday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you this “Floral Ornate Banner” shaped card made using Ornate Banner Die, Floral Elements Stamp and Floral Elements Die sets. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step on how I’ve created it.

To begin with, I started by lining up the largest die from the Ornate Banner Die Set over a large piece of white cardstock. Then, I ran them through the die cut machine, and once I had the large banner die-cut it out from the white cardstock I repeated the same step to die-cut a second banner.

So, after I had both die-cut banner, I placed one of them over my scoring board tool and I marked a scoring line at the 1/4-inch mark. Therefore, after the scoring line was marked, I folded it outwards and I adhered double-sided tape to it so, I could adhere the second large banner. That said, I peeled off the backing of the double-sided tape, and before I adhered the second banner over it I wrapped around a large piece of metallic gold thread, and once I was done with it I adhered them both creating that way a hinge for the card could open and close.

Thus, after I was done with the Ornate shaped card base, I set it aside and I moved on to stamp and watercolor the floral wreath. For the wreath, I placed inside my stamping tool a large piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper then, I placed over the paper the wreath included in the Floral Elements Stamp Set, and I’ve gotten it stamped 2X for a better impression with Detail Black Ink. So, after I was done stamping the wreath, I removed it from the stamping tool and I lined up 2 sentiments from the Believe in Yourself Stamp Set, and I’ve also got them stamp with black ink in the center of the wreath. With that said, after I was done stamping I removed the card panel from the stamping tool, and I went ahead to watercolor the wreath in with a mix of soft hues that I had previously created using Sunshine, Clementine, Bubblegum, Espresso, Key Lime, Licorice and Aquamarine from the PFS-Detail Black Ink. So therefore, after I was done water-coloring the wreath I set it aside to dry, and in the meanwhile, I came back to the card base to add a splattering touch so, for the splatters I placed the dotted image stamp over an acrylic block and I’ve gotten them stamp a few times around the card base with gold ink.

By the time that I was done stamping the splattering the water-colored wreath was completely dry so, I went ahead and lined up the coordinated die and I ran them though the die cut machine. Lastly, after I was done die-cutting the wreath out from the card panel, I mounted it to the card base with craft foam and double-sided tape to add dimension, and to finish the card off I embellished the card by adding glossy accent to the berries and by gluing down with liquid glue some pink jewels from the Jewels Mix to add a touch of shine. As a finishing touch, I also adhered a tied bow which I created with another piece of metallic gold thread.
