Merry Little Christmas | TaeEun Yoo
Hello, Pinkfresh friends! Hope your week is off to a great start! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a couple of Holiday cards featuring some goodies from our recent releases. I also used the Pop Out Rainbow stamp to create the background of one of my card. The pop out stamp was released a while back but loved still by everyone :)
Let’s get started with the holiday card in fresh colors which is showcasing the Merry Little Christmas cling stamp. I love that the sentiment part of this stamp is removable which gives you lots of possibilities!
I started off by white heat embossing the image part of the Merry Little Christmas stamp on some watercolor paper. I ink blended four color families on the panel darkening it towards the border. The ink colors I used are : Peach Fuzz, Apricot / Misty Coast, Rocky Slope / Ballet Slipper, Coral Reef / Fresh Pear, Meadow.
I then colored the cute little whimsical images using Pinkfresh Studio Liquid watercolors. I blended the watercolor using a clear glitter pen to add sparkle. The sentiment part of the Merry Little Christmas was stamped in Detail black. I trimmed the panel a bit and foam mounted it on a white cardbase. To finish off I added clear Pico Embellisher to the berries and scattered a few Jewels.
The second card is a shaker holiday card featuring Pop Out Rainbow stamp set, Gift Boxes cling stamp and the Stitched Scallop Rectangles die from the latest release.
First I stamped the red ombre background using Pop Out Rainbow stamp in Regal Kiss, Candy Apple, Berrylicious, Persimmon, Passion Fruit, Coral Reef and Ballet Slipper. I stamped the red rainbow two times on the diagonal corners and cut the panel using the Diagonal Stitched Rectangles die.
To frame the shaker part I cut the Stitched Scallop Rectangles from some shimmer cardstock. I glued a piece of clear acetate sheet on the back of the frame and made the shaker using foam tape and red, silver and clear sequins mix.
I stamped the Gift Boxes in Berrylicious, Summer Shower, Blue Jay and Storm and cut them using the coordinating die. The sentiment was cut using Classic Holiday Words die from white cardstock. I cut the shadow layer from some vellum and added the sentiment onto the gift boxes which were arranged on the shaker window. Some clear Jewels finished off my card.
Hope you enjoyed looking my cards today!
Thank you so much!
Have a crafty day!
