Lot's Of Love Card
Hi friends! Angelica here, thanks so much for joining me today. I thought it would be fun to play along with this month’s Challenge. June’s theme is all about rainbows, and I couldn’t resist making my own rainbow background, using up scraps of card stock in my stash.
I started by pulling out a rainbow of card stock. I used Color Block: Gradiating Stripes Die to die-cut the stripes. I used the smaller stripes side to die-cut with, then arranged the stripes in a rainbow order on my desk. I glued the pieces to printer paper, changing up the sizes for a different look. Once I finished, I trimmed the panel, then made a white frame for it.
I started with Essentials: Blanket Stitched Rectangle Die to make the top frame. I used a rectangle die from Essentials: Stitched Rectangle Frames to die-cut the inside frame. I attached the frames together, glued the finished frame to the rainbow background, and adhered it to a card base.
To break up the white on white frame a bit, I added a couple roses and petals from Grant Yourself Grace stamp set. I gold heat-embossed the images onto vellum, and used the coordinating die to die-cut the images. I attached them to the card with clear foam tape.
My last step was the sentiment. I picked Lot’s Of Love die set, die-cutting gold glitter paper with the shadow die, and white cardstock three times with the words die. I stacked and glued the letters together, then attached the sentiment to the card.
