Hi Pinkfresh friends! I'm pretty sure it's safe to say we're all ready for winter to be over, and the moment I saw the new Lily Frame stamp set, I was getting major (and very welcomed) spring vibes. Inspired by this month's card making challenge theme of frames, today's card features the stamp, along with its coordinating die and stencil. Let's get into it, shall we?

To get started, I used the Lily Frame stamp and a very light application of Pinkfresh Warm Buff ink to create a faint impression on a panel of white cardstock. The exact ink color isn't really important here - I just picked a light one that would help me to line up my stencils properly, but as you'll see, I embossed over it after that stencil work was done. Speaking of embossing, despite my natural impulse to tidy up as I moved along, I didn't remove the stamp from my MISTI after I'd made that initial impression. This was key for easy alignment in the later heat embossing step.

For my color palette, I picked Pinkfresh inks in Regal Kiss, Apricot, Marigold and Stargazer. Since the images in this set are quite small, I used small blending brushes in my stenciling, working through each layer to build color. Once finished, I went back in with some of the earlier stencils again to soften the color blends.

When the full frame was colored in and the ink had dried, I popped the same panel back into my MISTI where the Lily Frame stamp was still positioned. I placed the stenciled panel exactly in the same spot where I'd done the initial stamping, brushed it with my anti-static powder bag, and stamped in clear embossing ink. Since the ink colors were on the warmer side, I chose a warm gold embossing powder, set it with my heat gun, and used the coordinating Lily Frame die to cut it out.

While I was die cutting, I also completed the other elements for my background and sentiment. The Sparkling Diamonds cover die has just enough subtle texture and pattern to provide interest, while not detracting from the floral elements. For the sentiment, I used the Heather's Lower Case Alphas to die cut the letters for 'thanks' several times, then stacked them together with liquid adhesive to make them more sturdy.

For the final assembly, I backed the Lily Frame piece with foam tape, adhered it over the Sparkling Diamonds background, and arranged the 'thanks' letters vertically inside. Normally I'd add a few gems or metallic pearls, but in this case, felt like the design didn't really need anything else!
