Happy Tuesday Pinkfresh friends!

I'm a big fan of leaves,  so when I found out about Pinkfresh Studio September challenge theme, I knew I wanted to create some cards using lots of leaves.

For today's projects I used the gorgeous Fluttering Butterflies stamp set. I did a little stamp surgery and cut out the part of this large stamp where the set of leaves are. I wanted to stamp lots of leaves with Hero Arts Satin Pearl Embossing Powder.

I used the Fluttering Butterflies coordinating stencils to color these leaves. I decided to use the colors suggested for the September challenge: Mulberry Blush, Raspberry Bliss, Mimosa, Citron and Paradise. I stamped these images twice so I had enough leaves to decorate my card. Once I cut out these leaves with the coordinating die I decided to create some dimension for my background.

First up I dry embossed the Floral Background coverplate die and trimmed the final piece a little bit. Then I cut out several squares using the Essentials Stitched Scallop Square die set. I glued all the layers and adhered one of them on the upper right side of the front panel and the other underneath the first square moving it a little bit to the right.

I foam mounted the largest leaves on the top and bottom of the background and tucked the smallest leaves under the large leaves creating and "L" shape.

I felt there was something missing so I white heat embossed on vellum some more leaves and adhered them where I thought they could add some extra texture.

For my second project I white heat embossed some more leaves from the same Fluttering Butterflies stamp set. I colored these leaves with the coordinating stencils with Raspberry Bliss, Mimosa, Citron and Paradise. Next up I arranged these leaves onto a circle I had cut out with the Nested Circles Die set. Then I foam mounted these leaves onto the circle following the circle shape making sure I didn't cover the whole circle. My idea was to create half a wreath and place it on the left side of the card.

I added some texture with a white die I had cut out with the Secret Garden die and adhered it under my wreath. I wanted to add some extra color so I ink blended some Raspberry Bliss, Mimosa and Citron inks on a white cardstock and trimmed it to cover only the part of the wreath.

Before I adhered my wreath to the cardbase, I dry embossed the Plaid Press Plate onto an A2 panel. I placed my mini ink blended panel onto my cardbase and foam mounted my wreath on top. I decorated this front panel some small flowers from the Stylized Floral die set.

For my sentiment I used the Basic Banners Everyday stamp set  adding some extra die cut banners in pink and orange.

As a final touch I added some gold and pink splatters on part of the front panel.

I hope you find these ideas inspiring and have a chance to participate on this month's challenge.

Thank you so much for stopping by and happy crafting!
