Happy Monday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you a “Shaped Floral’’ card made showcasing Intricate Mandala Die Set, Charming Floral Wreath Stamp Set, Charming Floral Wreath Coordinating Die Set, Artistic Bows Die Set and a beautiful combination of PFS- Inks. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.

To begin with, I started by creating the shaped card base using the die from Intricate Mandala Die Set that die cut the solid die-cutting shaped mandala. Therefore, I went ahead to line up the die over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I proceed to run them through my die-cutting machine. I repeated this step twice to die-cut the bottom and top layers of the card base.

Once, I had that step done I went ahead to sit them off aside while I continued to die-cut the intricate layer for the mandala. Thus, to do that I went ahead to line up the intricate mandala die from the set over a piece of white cardstock and then I proceed to run them through the die-cutting machine. Therefore, after having all 3 layers for the intricate mandala shaped card base, I went ahead to carefully glue down with liquid glue the intricate layer over one of the solid bases with the pretty side up, and then I moved on to create the cardstock piece which will hold the top layer of the card to stand up from the bottom layer creating that way its own base if you will.

Therefore, for that step I went ahead to trim off a piece of heavy weight white cardstock to H 3-3/2’’ x 1-1/2’’ inches. Next, I placed the piece of white cardstock over my scoring board tool and I proceeded to score 3 lines over the cardstock piece at the mark of 1/2’’, 1-1/2’’ and 3.0’’ inches. Having that said, after I’ve gotten the scoring lines done over the cardstock piece, I went ahead to fold them over in an accordion way and then I proceed to add pieces of double-sided tape on both ends. Lastly, I went ahead to peel off the backing of the tape and then, I continued to adhere it inside of both layers of the card base (as shown in the image above)

Moving on, after having the full card base finished, I set it off aside so I could create the floral focal point of the card. So, for this step I went ahead to place a large piece of white cardstock inside my stamping tool. Next, I went ahead to get twice the layered stamping for the floral wreath over the cardstock using Charming Floral Wreath Stamp Set along with Mint Ink, Olive Ink for the leaves + Peach Fuzz Ink and Coral Reef Ink for the flowers. That said, after having the stamping done for both sides of the wreath, I went ahead to use one of the dies from Charming Floral Wreath Coordinating Die Set to die-cut them out of the cardstock.

Thus, after I had finished the die-cutting for the floral wreath pieces, I went ahead to mount them over the card base (as shown in the image above) with square foam adhesives to add dimension. Lastly, after I had mounting the sides of the wreath which in this case is not fully closed because, I wanted to have space to finish it off by gluing a delicate floral bow which I created with a 3 layers using translucent vellum and one of the dies from Artistic Bows Die Set.

Last but not least, to finish the card off, I went ahead to get stamped a one of the sentiment from the stamp set over a strip of white cardstock using Coral Reef Ink which right afterwards, I layered it over and over strip pieces of white cardstock to create a sturdy and dimensional sentiment. As you can see in the image above, by gluing down the sentiment on the edge of the bottom layer of the card base there is still enough space to get a personal message written inside of it.

Finally, as finishing touches, I went ahead to glue down with liquid glue some jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix to add a pop of sparkles! And, with that being said, thank you for stopping by we hope you have enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Shaped Floral’’ card made with an array of beautiful products by Pinkfresh. This card is stunning and then some!!! I am a huge fan of shape cards, and I just love the intricate detail that the medallion adds. The wreath stamp set is a perfect fit and the bow just takes it too another level. Now I want to buy all the supplies so I can try and recreate this card! It is a masterpiece!
