Hello Pinkfresh friends! Hope the year started off well for you all!  It’s TaeEun here today with a Thank You card. I chose a warm color theme for a cozy feel!

I started off by creating the background using Pop Out Nested Chevron cling stamp set. I used brown tones and soft green along with gold. I first stamped the fourth chevron pattern in an embossing ink on a A2 sized white cardstock and heat embossed it in gold. I turned around the panel and did the same again. Then I stamped the third chevron stamp in Warm Buff, the second one in Peach Fuzz and the last stamp in Fresh Pear. I then adhered the background panel on a white cardbase and set it aside.

The In the Meadow images were heat embossed in gold and colored using the layering stencil set. I chose the Indian summer color family for the flowers. For the leaves I used the colors I used to stamp the chevron background. When I stenciled the first layer of the flowers I blended Apricot, Clementine and Persimmon on different areas to give the flowers various shades. I then colored the second layer using the next darker color. The berries were stenciled in Regal Kiss and Gathered Twigs. The leaves were stenciled in two colors; Peach Fuzz and Fresh Pear. The second layer of the leaves were colored in Warm Buff. After the stenciling was done I cut the images with the coordinating die.

To create a toned down background for my floral arrangement I cut two oval panels using Blanket Stitched Oval dies from vellum and layered them on the center of the chevron background. Next I arranged the flowers along the diagonal line and mounted them with foam adhesives. The sentiment from the Built on Dreams set was gold heat embossed and added to the card with two layers of foam tape for more dimension.

I finished off the card with a few Sparkling Champagne Metallic Pearls.
