Elegant Simplest Gestures | Dilay Nacar
Welcome, friends! Dee here today, and I hope that everyone is having a fantastic start to their week! Today, I am sharing this floral card using neutral and delicate colors. Let’s get started!
To begin, I die-cut a piece of white cardstock with the Blanket Stitched Rectangle die. I then cut a piece of light pink and white cardstock with the Floral & Diamond Tiles Cover Plate die, trimmed the white piece at an angle, and adhered it to the base. To add some texture and interest, I then layered some of the light pink negative pieces into the openings of the white angled piece.
Next, I hot foiled the Simplest Gestures foil plate twice, used the coordinating stencils to color them (using Ballet Slippers and Warm Buff for the blooms and Evergreen for the leaves), then die cut both using the coordinating die.
I assembled the floral bunch onto the panel, adhering it using foam adhesive, and trimmed off the excess. For the sentiment, I foiled ‘hello’ from the Fancy Script Words foil plate set onto light pink cardstock, die-cut it with the coordinating die, and adhered it on top. As a finishing touch, I added metallic gold embellishments to the centers of the flowers then mounted the card onto an A2-sized, top-folding card base.
I hope you liked today's project and are inspired by it. Thank you so much for stopping by, friends.
