Elegant Dahlias & Foiled Sentiments | Dilay Nacar
Welcome, crafty friends! Dee here, and I am back to share two more cards that feature the beautiful Dahlia washi tape and coordinating die from the latest release. These cards are clean, simple, and super easy to recreate! Let’s begin!
As usual, I like to begin by die-cutting all of the washi tape first, and for these two cards, I need two sets of the Dahlia washi. I adhered one set onto medium-weight cardstock and the other set onto parchment paper, then cut it with the coordinating dies. (Tip: Use parchment paper with the washi to create stickers of the die cuts - the parchment paper peels right off!).
To begin the ‘Hello’ card, I cut the Sunburst Pop Out die in white and adhered it directly onto an A2-sized card base, then cut two of the Stitched Scalloped Circles and adhered them to the center.
Next, I arranged the washi pieces in a cascading pattern and adhered each piece with glue and foam adhesive. I then added the Brushed Sentiments foiled ‘Hello’ with foam tape and some matte gold pearls as a finishing touch.
For the second card, I adhered the washi stickers, clustered together, directly onto an A2-sized card base, then die cut the panel with the Folk Edge Rectangle die. Next, I foiled the smaller hexagon with gold foil and added another washi sticker before die cutting it with the coordinating die. I adhered the hexagon on top of the dahlia cluster with foam tape, then added the Brushed Sentiments foiled ‘Love you’ with foam tape and, once again, some matte gold pearls as a finishing touch.
I hope you enjoyed learning more about my cards today and are inspired to create something fun and new! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Just what I needed, your lovely cards to create some birthday cards. I improvised and used some dies I had on hand to create the background. The placement of the Dahlias fit perfectly. Thank you so much. :)
The cards are stunning! I am hoping the Dahlia die will soon be back in stock.
