Hello crafty friends! It's Rachel here with three quick but elegant cards that showcase the new Blooming Grace Washi Tape. If you've never tried any of the Pinkfresh Studio washi products, they're super easy to use and look absolutely gorgeous without any actual ink blending or coloring.

All three of my cards today feature only one pass through my die cutting machine with the Blooming Grace Washi flowers. This shows that you can get a lot of use out of each roll and have plenty of pre-colored images to work with.

How to recreate these cards:

FLORALS:

1.  To create your floral images, open the Blooming Grace Washi tape and stick one complete set of florals onto a thick piece of white card stock.  My card stock measured at 4.25" wide by 10" tall.

2.  Use the coordinating Blooming Grace Die Set to cut them out.

CARD 1:

1.  Trim a piece of dark purple card stock to 4.25" x 11" and fold in half at 5.5" using a scoring board to create a top folding A2 sized card base.

2.  Trim two strips of light purple card stock to 4.25" wide x 1.5" tall and die cut the top and bottom edges of each of these pieces with one of the Essentials: Fancy Edgers Die Set.

3.  Adhere each light purple strip to your dark purple card base with double sided adhesive tape.

4.  Die cut a stitched white oval using the second largest of the Essentials: Nested Ovals Double Stitch Die Set.

5. Stamp your sentiment into the middle of the oval.  (My sentiment came from the Peony Perfection Stamp Set.)

6.  Adhere your oval to the center of your card base and then add your florals with dimensional foam tape.

CARD 2: 

1.  Trim a piece of light purple card stock to 4.25" x 5.5" and die cut the bottom of it (across the 4.25" side) with one of the Essential: Fancy Edgers Die Set.

2.  Use the Blooming Grace Stamp Set to heat emboss some floral images to your card stock with fine detail white embossing powder.

3. Adhere this piece to a top-folding A2 sized white card base.

4.  Trim a piece of dark purple card stock to 2 1/8" x 4.25" and a piece of white card stock to 1 7/8" x 4.25" and adhere the white strip of card stock to the center of the dark purple strip of card stock.

5.  Stamp your sentiment onto the top right corner of the white strip and adhere the entire strip to the center of your card.

6.  Add your florals with more dimensional foam tape. 

CARD 3:

1.  Create an A2 top-folding card base with some light purple card stock.

2.  Layer with a 4" x 5.25" piece of white card stock.

3.  Lightly blend another 4" x 5.25" piece of smooth white card stock with Sheer Freesia Ink starting at the lower left corner and working your way toward the middle, fading to white.  

4.  Die cut this ink-blended piece with the second largest of the Essentials: Double Stitched Rectangles Die.

5. Stamp your sentiment onto the lower right center of your ink-blended piece and adhere the entire piece to your layered card base.

6.  Take the largest of all the floral pieces and run part of it through your die cutting machine again with the same double stitched rectangle die as used in the previous step and adhere the die cut piece with the right angle to the top left section of your ink blended piece with dimensional foam tape.

7.  Use a pair of scissors to trim a straight edge on the remaining floral piece after the one section was die cut in the step above.

8.  Add the rest of your florals using more 3D foam tape for a pop of dimension.

You can never go wrong using any of the Pinkfresh Studio Washi Tapes! The pre-colored images look so professional and take very little time to create.
