Daisy Wreath in Yellow, Orange & Gray | TaeEun Yoo
Hello, Pinkfresh Friends! Hope you’re all well and enjoying the first month of the new year! It’s TaeEun here today with a Thank you card which is featuring our new Daisy Wreath layered stencil set and Layered Sunburst stencil set. I chose a simple color palette for this card: yellow-orange and gray! Let's take a look :) !
To start off I cut the daisy wreath from white cardstock using the coordinating die before stenciling. I makes it easier to align the stencils. There are also little marks on the corners of the stencils which matches to a A2 sized panel. These marks are great guides when you stencil your images using our layered stencil sets! To stencil the Daisy Wreath I used Sunshine, Marigold, Passion Fruit and for the leaves Misty Coast and Metropolis.
To create the background I used Layered Sunburst stencil in the same color scheme like the flowers. I made the border of the panel darker and kept the center of it white. After I stenciled the third layer of the sunburst in gray I added clear glitter paste and set it aside to dry. Next I trimmed the panel down to a smaller size than A2 and foam mounted it on a white cardbase.
The Daisy Wreath was also foam mounted on the card. The sentiment from Layered Script Words set was stamped in Marigold, Passion Fruit and Rocky Slope, cut using the coordinating die. I put some yellow Jewels on the center of the daisies and inside of the wreath.
Hope you enjoyed looking my card today!
Have a wonderful day!
TaeEun

I’m just getting the hang on these layering stencils – of course you know I’m still learning – from the best today, it seems! TaeEun, I love your gorgeous card, and use of the Pantone Colors of 2021!
