Daisy Wreath | Caly Person
Hi, Friends
It’s Caly with you today to share a card using the new Daisy Wreath set! This is one of my favorites from the December 2020 Stencil Release. The Daisy Wreath set is a set of 5 stencils. This set of stencils comes with a coordinating die and I recommend die-cutting first before beginning so you can line up the stencils perfectly.
It helps if you have something sticky to help hold your die-cut panel in place as you work between the different stencils. I like to use a sticky mat used in electric cutting machines like the Cricut, Silhouette or Scan N Cut. You could always temporarily adhere it to some cardstock as well. I ink-blended the layers with Pinkfresh Studio Inks using Grassy Knoll, Olive, Sparkling Rose, Raspberry Bliss, Regal Bliss, and Doe. I used a finger dauber to get more control so I could shade and blend the colors on the larger florals and leaves.
For my background, I wanted something subtle so I die-cut the background using the Stitches die. I attached this panel to a card base using foam adhesive to give it lots of dimension.
I finished by adhering my Daisy Wreath to the panel using more foam adhesive, adhering a sentiment embossed from the Layered Bouquet stamp set, and adding some Jewels.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed this card
