Happy Thursday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you a “Charming Floral Wreath” card made using Charming Floral Wreath Stamp and Charming Floral Wreath Die sets. Along with these beautiful sets, I also will be using other dies by Pinkfresh. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step on how I made it.

To begin with, I started by creating the card panel, so to that I placed inside my MISTI stamping tool a Strathmore watercolor panel. Therefore, once I’ve had the card panel into place, I lined up facing down the Diagonal Bars Background Stamp over the card panel and I went ahead to pick up the stamp with the stamping tool door.

Then, I went ahead to get the card panel prepped using lot of embossing powder tool thus, after I had that step done, I went ahead to get the image stamped with embossing ink 3X for a better impression.

Moving along, after I’ve had stamped the card panel, I removed it from the stamping tool, and I covered with white embossing powder. Then, I heated set the powder using my heat gun embossing tool and once, I’ve had the card panel heat embossed I temporarily tape it down over a clipboard because, I wanted to add a quick wash of watercolor.

So, right after I’ve had added the wash of color to the card panel, I’ve set the card panel aside to let the water-coloring dry. Meanwhile, I went ahead to place inside my MISTI stamping tool another watercolor panel, and once the card panel was into place I went ahead to line up on one side the outline wreath image from the Charming Floral Wreath Stamp.

Thus, after the wreath image was lined up with the card panel, I went ahead to get it stamped with Misty Coast Ink on one side and then I turned the card panel and I went ahead to get it stamped once again in the other side of the watercolor panel. Lastly, after I’ve had both outline wreath images stamped, I quickly went ahead to get the water-coloring done so therefore, for the water-coloring I’ve used a mix of cool Purple, Burgundy, Green, Blue, Grey hues which I’ve had mixed previously on my mixing palette using my Pinkfresh Watercolor Collection.

Finally, after I’ve had water-colored both wreaths I set them aside to dry, and in the meantime I started the assembling for the card so, to do that I trimmed the edges down from the card panel a bit smaller than the card base and I adhered the backing of it with double-side tape to an A2 top folding white card base. Next, I stacked and adhered in the center of the card panel a dimensional die-cut circle which I’ve had previously created using the largest die from the Inverted Stitched Scallop Circles then right after that, I mounted a sentiment which I’ve had stamped on a piece of white cardstock with Regal Kiss Ink. And soon after, I glued down with liquid glue (as shown in the image above) 2 leafy branch die-cutting pieces which I’ve had also previously create using Leafy Branch Die and white cardstock.

Last but not least, I lined up the coordinated die for the Charming Floral Wreath Die Set and, once I had it line up I ran them through the die-cut machine to die-cut each side of the wreath out of the watercolor card panel. So, once I had the die-cutting pieces done, I went ahead to repeat the same step but this time to die-cut each side of the wreath out plain white cardstock because, I wanted to add dimension creating a dimensional floral wreath so, I stacked each side of the wreath and I glued them down with liquid glue (as shown in the image above) Finally, as finishing touches, I glued down here and there with liquid glue pink jewels from the Essentials: Jewel Mix set as well as tiny dots of glossy accent to the berries and the center of the flowers for a dimensional and sparkly look.
