Berries & Blossoms |Cheryl Espie
Hi Pinkfresh Studio friends
How beautiful was the latest Artsy Floral release by Pinkfresh Studio?? So many washi tapes that are just stunning and, can bring a card together in a jiffy.
I have shared some washi samples already so for todays post, I thought I would design a card using the new and non washi stamp and stencil set, Berries & Blossoms.
There is great versatility with this stamp set because when its die cut, you get lots of elements that you can place in any formation you wish.
To begin, I heat embossed the Blossoms & Berries Stamp in liquid platinum embossing powder. I then added colour using the coordinating Stencils.
Dye inks used: Sunkissed, Peony, Ballet Slipper & Sage
For the backdrop, I die cut the classic Simply Diamonds Coordinating Cut and layered it over a grey, dry embossed panel. To achieve that textured look I run the grey cardstock in my machine with the Lush Vines Hot Foil Plate.
Using the newly released Notched Corner Frames Dies I created a centrepiece and added some vellum. This breaks up the background, but doesn't totally cover it.
Using my die cut Blossoms & Berries elements, I arranged them around my frame and popped them up with foam dots. Then, I just added a few Silver Pearls to tie on the background.
And, that incredible sentiment is from the brand new Sakura Stamp Set!
I hope I have inspired you today with this bold design. As always, I have made a reel that shows it coming together so keep and eye out for that over on Instagram @pinkfreshstudio
Until next time friends...
Cheryl
