Hi Pinkfresh friends! Hope your first week of August is off to a great start! It’s TaeEun here today with a stenciled Anemone Magic card! I used the new layering stencil set from the July Release to color the Anemone Magic stamp images. I also used the color palette and the theme (STRIPES) of the Pinkfresh Studio August Challenge to make this card!

With the layering stencil sets for the stamps which coordinate with our beautiful washi tapes you can color the images so beautifully in a quick and easy way! 

I started by heat embossing the Anemone Magic stamp image on white card stock in gold. Next I stenciled the image using the colors from the color palette provided in the challenge graphic. I picked Ballet Slipper and Marigold for the light flowers and Lavender and Regal Kiss for the purple anemones. For the darkest shade of the flowers I used Candy Apple and Regal Kiss. The leaves were stenciled in Key Lime and Olive.

After the stenciling was done I cut the images using the one piece die. I chose the big cluster for my card and set the other images aside. 

To create the stripy background I used the Color Block Gradiating Stripes die. Before I cut the watercolor paper panel I watercolored it in yellow ombré.

I added the stripes on a white card base using foam adhesives. For more golden shine I cut a leafy branch from gold mirror card stock. I cut the branches into smaller pieces and arranged them around the anemone cluster. Next I foam mounted the anemone cluster on the card. The gold foiled sentiment was created using Perfect Sentiments hot foil plate.

I thought the Gold Metallic Pearls would make a perfect finishing touch for this card! I added them to the center of the large anemone flowers and on the stripes.
