Happy Monday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing a 3-dimensional inspiration card with a “Geometrical & Floral” look using the Garden Bouquet: Washi and Garden Bouquet: Die to add the floral look. Also, to make this card, I used the Nested Diamonds Die, Abstract Triangles Hot Foil Plate, and Essentials: Blanket Stitched Rectangle Die Set to build up the 3-dimensional layers for the 3-dimensional card front. Lastly, I used one of the Foiled Sentiments 5 as the card sentiment. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.

Therefore, I started by getting the hot foil stamping done for the card background. So, to do that, I used the Abstract Triangles Hot Foil Plate along with a piece of white cardstock and a large portion of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll-Polished Brass. Also, I used the Glimmer Hot Foil System and the die-cut machine to do the hot foil stamping process over the cardstock. 

Thus, after completing the hot foil stamping, I set that aside to do the die-cutting process for the diamond shape + the smaller and detailed card panel. As for the smaller white card panel, I used white cardstock alongside the medium-size die from the Essentials: Blanket Stitched Rectangle Die Set. By the way, I used the inner die-cutting part and left the outer part of the die-cutting aside for another project. 

Then, for the diamond die-cutting shape pieces, I used the number #2 die from large to small nested dies to cut out the gold die-cutting diamond, and the next die from large to small to cut out not only one but three white die-cutting diamonds. By the way, these dies are from the Nested Diamonds Die set. 

Therefore, once I completed the die-cutting steps for the layering pieces, I created the dimensional card background, so to do that, I trimmed down a white cardstock piece to W 7.0 x H 5-1/2 inches using the paper trimmer. Then, to create the folds over it, I placed the cardstock piece over the scoreboard tool, and I used the Teflon bone folder to trace over it some scoring lines at 1/2, 1.0, 1-1/2, 5-1/2, 6.0, and 6-1/2 inches. Next, after adding the scoring lines, I proceeded to fold them over using the side of the Teflon bone folder, but making sure that the ends of the dimensional card panel were facing inwards as I was going to add glue to the backside to get the card panel glued to the card base.

Moving on, right after I had gotten the ends to fold over, I added liquid glue to the backsides, and then, I got the sides glued to the front part of an A2-size white cardstock base. Also, if you look closely at the image above, I left 1/8 of an inch margin on each side. And, also that is how the fold should look as well.

Soon after, to keep going with the card layout assembling, I used the paper trimmer to trim down the hot foil stamped panel to H 5-1/2 x W 4.0 inches, and then, I got the backing of it glued over the dimensional card front. Next, I got the detailed white card panel mounted over the hot foil stamped background using craft foam and double-sided adhesive to raise some dimension. Then, I got the backing of the gold diamond die-cutting shape glued to the front part of the detailed white panel, and last but not least, I stacked the white die-cutting diamonds to create dimension and right after I got the backing of it glued over the gold diamond shape.

To keep going after getting the 3-dimensional card front assembled, I proceeded to use the Garden Bouquet: Washi and Garden Bouquet: Die alongside white cardstock to create the floral die-cutting pieces out of them. So, as soon as I had completed that step, I used the floral die-cutting shapes to add a small floral cluster to the center of the diamond shape. 

By the way, the floral cluster layer also adds more dimension to the card, and You can see that in the image above.

Nevertheless, after creating the floral layer over the card front, I proceeded to finish the card by adding its sentiment, and to do so, I used one of the sentiments included in the Foiled Sentiments 5.

In the image above, You can see how I got the sentiment mounted with a small piece of craft foam adhesive over the floral cluster.

Lastly, as the final result, You can look in the image above at how the card looks once I added its sentiment. Also, I would like to mention that I decided to skip any extra embellishments due to the dimension, but if you want to recreate this card feel free to add a touch of sparkle, too!
